I currently own around 20 McCoy's and my collection is growing daily.
It started with my parents buying a couple at an auction, and since
then I have been hooked. Great product and wonderful collection of
pieces! Thanks for a wonderful product, Mike

I have a set of four mccoy canisters. They are shaped like old milk
cans, with a handle only on the lid. They are brown on the top and
off white on the bottom. They each have a different fruit, nut and
berry scene on them. They are numbered on the bottom 251-254. They
are in very good shape. Anyone with info. or interested please
email.

I am very interested in Mcoy Pottery. I've collected very small items
that i've ran across visiting fleas. I now am aware of all the great
stuff that was made by this co. I am helping my bro. setup a small
curio shop in the city of Goldsboro, NC 27530. I hope to run across
more McCoy as this year passes. Would like to hear from anybody that
can add to the joy of McCoy Pottery collecting or selling.

I recently came across a wonderful vase with "McCoy USA" embossed on
the bottom. It's square (7" high, 6" wide and 3" deep) in a butter
yellow with a soft green overglaze streaming down along the sides.
It's center is actually a window' that goes all the way through, in
which is a bird (white body with deep blue on head, wings and tail)
perched on a brown branch with dark green leaves). Net research
hasn't netted' any info on the piece. Can anyone help with possible
production date, value, etc.? Thanks very much!

My mother had great collection of Mc Coy and when she died, my father
is very stupid to have yard sale and sold them all at cheap price. I
am trying to re-collect all good memories of my mother who had great
care of flowers (flower pots/sauce, planters, double cache.)

I discovered a good condition McCoy cookie jar in the garage after my
mom's death and would like an idea of the value. It is a black kitten
in a pink basket. Actually.....I think it is rather ugly....and think
my mom had the right idea by hiding it in the garage! Can anyone give
my any idea of the value? I spoke to one dealer casually at a
political meeting and he offered me $65....sight unseen. Any
suggestions would be appreciate. Thanks.

Hi, (Excuse the typos please, I have a toddler on my lap)I have
creamer, sugar and candy bowl/lid (?) set I got as a gift from
mother-in-law. The shop owner told her it was the "lost glaze" that
was only produced for a short time before a fire destroyed the
factory. It seems to have a cream colored base with lavender and gold
patterning on top (irridescent?). Reminds me of lusterware a bit.
Anyway, does anyone have info on these pieces? Thanx.

how many different pieces were made for the McCoy Spirit of 76

Hello, I discovered i have a piece of your pottery in my home. It is
a planter made in a dark brown, with honey highlights, It has a
spinning wheel/ with a cat climbing away from a barking German
Snauzer dog. The piece has the Mc Coy logo dating at 1935-present. on
the bottom. The dog is a blondish red color and the rest is brown
with honey highlights. I cannot find a chip or blemish anywhere. It
has been in the cabinet for as long as i can remember. The dog is
reared on his hind legs Being held tight by a leash. The copper
colored string is still in place and held tight. also there is a
locked box the dog has his front feet on that has the initials R S
with a spittoon on top of the box also. I know nothing of pottery, a
friend of mine brought my attention to the piece. I just had it on
our kitchen cabnet as a salt & pepper holder. It was my mothers
and as far as i know it was passed down from some of my grandmothers
somewhere. I'm not interested in putting it on the market but I'd
like to know an estimated value so i can place it on the insurance
policy if need be. Thank you, Chris cmcfarl@lcc.net

No relation to the McCoy potters (as far as I know) although my
grandpa was from Virginia. I have collected McCoy for about 10 years,
ever since my grandma McCoy passed on and I received a birds and
cherries vase which belonged to her. I always thought that she had
made the vase until I discovered another McCoy piece at a rummage
sale. Little did I know it would lead to my collection of McCoy. I
have a coffee grinder cookie jar which is missing the lid. Anyone
know where I might be able to pick the lid up?
